You Pay When the Chair Is Filled: Our New Base + Per-Booking Pricing

Marcus Eldridge
A full appointment book at a busy location

Starting this month, Predictive Rain is priced the way our customers make money: a small base fee per location, plus a flat fee for every booking we fill. If we don't fill it, you don't pay for it.

How it works

  • A base fee per location, per month. It covers the predictive engine, triaged outreach, the SMS agents, your Slack or Teams channel and unlimited outreach messaging. Carrier fees pass through at cost.
  • A flat fee per filled booking. $8 on Pilot, $5 on Scale, volume rates on Enterprise.
  • A monthly cap per location. Booking fees stop accruing past the cap, so a blowout month never turns into a blowout bill.

What counts as a filled booking

An appointment, class spot, membership or package that a Predictive Rain conversation closed, or that the client booked themselves within seven days of replying to us, and that your booking system marked completed. No-shows are free. Cancellations are free. Anything your team booked without our outreach in the window is free. We count kept appointments because that's the only number that is real.

Why we changed it

Our first model was per location with an included message allowance. It was designed to make blasting unprofitable, and it did. But it made the value abstract: what does a message allowance mean to a regional manager who cares about Thursday's schedule? The new model makes it literal. The bill goes up when the books fill and down when they don't, and every line on it corresponds to a person who showed up.

What it looks like

A six-location med spa on Scale pays $894 a month in base fees. If we fill 140 kept appointments per location, that is 840 bookings at $5 each, or $4,200, for a total of $5,094. At a $210 average ticket those bookings represent roughly $176,000 in service revenue. If the books are already mostly full and we fill 30 per location, the bill is $1,794.

Existing customers keep their current plan until renewal, or can switch today. The pricing page has the details, and the estimator will show you what your footprint would cost.
